How to cook Rice

INGREDIENTS:

– 1 cup of rice

– a pinch of salt

– 2 cups of water

 

Step 1

Put 2 cups of water in your pot.

Step 2

Add 1 cup of rice to the water, press button 2 on the ECOCA base (Program 2) and leave it to cook.

Step 3

Remember to close the lid to let it fully cook and absorb all the water.

Step 4

The rice should be cooked after 30 minutes. This might change based on the amount of rice you use! 

For 1 cup of rice, you should be using 2 cups of water.

If you decide to use a double portion of rice, use the right amount of water!

 

How to cook Beans

INGREDIENTS:

– 1/4 cup of beans

– a pinch of salt

– soda

– 1 cup of water

Step 1

Leave the beans to soak overnight

Step 2

Put the beans in your pot

Step 3

Add one cup of water, the oversoaked beans in the pot and press button 3 on the ECOCA base (Program 3)

Step 4

Add a pinch of salt and mix.

Step 5

Add some soda and mix.

Leave them to cook for 2 hours.

Then serve and enjoy.

How to cook Eggplant with Silver Cyprinid Fish

INGREDIENTS:

– 1 Eggplant

– 2 Tomatoes

– Silver Cyprinid Fish

– Soda

– Onion

– Ground Nut Paste

– Water

– Salt

– Oil

Step 1

Wash the eggplant and onion with clean water and chop them into small cubes.

Step 2

Press button 2 on the ECOCA base (Program 2), and add some oil. After 5 minutes add the eggplants, cook them until they have a brown color , and then add the chopped onion.

Step 3

Chop the tomatoes into thin slices and add them to the pot.

Step 4

Add a pinch of salt with a scoop of ground nut paste.

Step 5

Mix all the ingredients together and let it cook for a couple of minutes. Serve and enjoy!

 

How to cook Peas

INGREDIENTS:

– Fresh Pigeon Peas

– Water

– Salt

– Soda Ash

– Groundnut Paste

Step 1

Put 1 1/2 cups of water in your pot and add the peas (1/2 cup for one person). Press button 2 on the ECOCA base (Program 2).

Step 2

Afterward, add a pinch of salt to the water.

Step 3

Add some soda ash as well and mix!

Step 4

Close the lids and leave them to cook for 2-3 minutes. If there is more water left, strain it away.

Lastly, for some taste, add a scoop of groundnut paste. Mix again, serve, and enjoy!
